"I live in Chicago now but Athens is the only music scene I've ever really felt a part of. There have been too many good artists and bands and songs and I couldn't even pick all my favorites but I tired to capture concisely what the city sounded like to me. Some of these bands aren't bands anymore, some of them have only recently formed. If you like any of them, look them up. If you're in a band and tour, try to go through Athens, it is a special place. These songs all feel really important to me, I hope you like them as well."
